The demonstration software for the Palm handheld has a time limit
of one month. Note that it will not Sync TargetPlot data on to your PC in
Demo mode.
Load the ...prc onto your Palm using the Palm Install Tool.
Run the ...setup.exe program to install on your Pocket PC. |

Run the *.exe to unzip and install the files.
Load the *.prc or *.pdb file onto your Palm handheld using the Palm Install Tool.

Known Install Problems |
|
There is a known problem
in installing TargetPlot on some Windows XP computers. An error
message may be displayed as;
"C:\WINDOWS|SYSTEM|AUTOEXEC.NT. the systemfile is not applicable for MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Close to end this set up"

Also, to make sure the fix is permanent, make the autoexe.nt file a read only file in the system32 folder of windows.
Right click on the file, go to properties check the read only box, and click apply .

| There is a known problem
in the Hotsync process, the Hotsync Log will display "TargetPlot - Unknown database. Alias: targetplot synchronisation failed."

Download and run the
AliasFix.exe program.
|
| There is a known problem which occurs
when installing the software on some PC's. When the software
is run you will get an error message "Interface mismatch. Engine version
different". This indicates there is a problem in the Borland Database Engine (BDE).
BDECorrect.exe (351KB)

Download and run the BDECorrect.exe program.
It will search your hard drive to locate the BDE directory, then rename any old files that are causing problems.
After running the fix program, install the
software again. This will create a new BDE directory, with all the files required to run the Database Engine.
