The TargetPlot Software business is about producing software for sport and recreation.   Our passion for computers and new technology has given us the opportunity to develop some innovative tools for sport.

The initial concept of TargetPlot came from participating in our favourite sport, Archery.   After years of keeping notes, and plotting arrows on bits of paper, we were determined to find a better way!

The Palm handheld was the perfect platform to develop the ultimate archer's notebook.   The graphical display and digitiser on the Palm made it very user friendly. A simple Tap on the screen to plot each shot on the target.

It took three years to develop TargetPlot into a saleable product. We launched the product at the World Championships in France 1999, where there was a lot of interest generated.

With many suggestions from archers, we have continued to improved the software.  We plan to develop and support the TargetPlot software well into the future.

About Us

 Trevor Hancock is an electricial, electronics, and computer programming innovator. He started shooting in 1977, and has shoot air rifle, power rifle, recurve & compound archery, and more recently crossbow.

Marianne Rieckmann has a background in applications programming. She has been shooting a recurve bow since 1989 and has competed at two FITA World Target Championships (Turkey 1993, Madrid 2005) and one FITA World Field (Slovenia 1996).

Where do we live?

 We live in Adelaide, the capital city of South Australia, with a population over one million.  Australia is in the southern hemisphere, in the Asia Pacific region. This means that seasons and the time zone are very different to Europe and the USA.
